Recycled & Energy recovery
The operation of the device is based on the EU directive. The European Union regulated the area of waste management by passing the European Parliament Directive 2008/98/EC. This Directive stipulates that the preparation for reuse and recycling of plastic must be increased by 2020 to an average of at least 50% of the mass of municipal waste.
According to the EU definition, plastic waste recycling can be recycled recovery or energy recovery. In accordance with the EU directive: If plastic waste is thermally processed in industry, electricity production and chemical production, it is considered RECYCLED RECOVERY. If plastic waste is processed by thermal decomposition into fuel that is further refined, it is considered ENERGY RECOVERY. The TK 250 can do both.
It can generate electricity and then it is treated as if it is doing RECYCLED RECOVERY. The produced oil, gas and coke can be further processed in a refinery, and this is treated as ENERGY RECOVERY. What the TK 250 device will be used for is decided by the customer.

Calculation estimation for electricity production
INCOME
Based upon 270 kg of plastic * 24 hours = 6.48 tons per day, or 2,000-2,2000 per year.
Recycling 6.48 tons of plastic = 6.48 t * 2 CC (carbon credit) = 12.96 CC. 12.96 CC * 80 EUR = €1,036.80 per day or €347,328/year (deduct 30 to get 335 operational days).
1MWh * 24h * 335 days * €200/MWh (average expected 2023 German stock market price) = €1,608,000/year – 20% for dealers = €1,206,000 = €1,286,400/year
Add to that around 110 tons of coke * €1/kg = €110.000/year
The total income is around €1,743,700/year.
EXPENSES
Annual cost of 1Mw/h machine at 10 year loan is around €460.000.
The price of work and operating costs of the machine is 6 people (€2,000 x 12 months) = €144,000.
The cost of electricity during the start up of the machine (160kw x 2h) is negligible and will not be play a major part in the picture.
Maintenance cost of the machine is estimated at around €115,000/year
Add to that the cost of the infrastructure and services (space, hall, electricity, storing, administration, etc.) = cca €50,000-80,000/year
The total expenses are between €860,000 – €890,000/year.
